At least Netflix and other streaming services can measure their own activity directly, right from the source.

My mom who is 69 years old uses streaming services and cut the cord years ago and she doesn't even speak English (Hispanic) and isn't great with technology. My Dad who is 73 also uses streaming as well and uses a Digital Antenna for local sports and Smackdown. When I told him that RAW is going to Netflix he said that's good but was sad that Smackdown is going on Cable. I might end up setting him with an Iptv service for Smackdown... But my point stand that boomers do know how to use streaming.
