I think it's overused, too. But a disproportionate number of top pro-wrestlers are nonetheless autists. Nor is this entirely a new thing, though I do think the rates have nonetheless gone up. The Poffo Brothers, Bret, Dynamite, honestly Warrior too, all seemed really autistic.

I wish that were the case for me. I was a horrible grappler. Maybe it was just not starting it early enough in life. But I also had some undiagnosed health issues, much of which I've only recently been addressing, and I'm always had trouble getting past my clumsiness. Then again, so did Cena, and he got himself in incredible shape.

I would've loved to've been a pro wrestler.

The older I get the more I tend to agree with this. Antisocial/sociopathic traits just depend on what you’re willing to do to someone and how far you’re willing to go. Everyone falls on a spectrum of it someplace and the idea you can “score” someone based on traits and then label them a sociopath is silly. A person molested as a kid might have no problem skinning someone alive but then hates lying to people and would never steal. Someone who steals might view it as a petty “victimless” crime and might do drugs and lie but views literally assaulting and hurting someone as going too far. Anyone can be turned into a ruthless killer and a ruthless killer can have an attack of conscience. That huge serial killer, the guy with the glasses I forget his name, started attacking a girl in his car one night in his usual method just before he killed his victims, she struck a nerve with him when she yelled back “my life sucks, I’m on meds! We can talk! Clearly YOU’RE on something if you’re doing this”
