Roman has clearly come into his own since the pandemic & the heel storyline made him but he also clearly needs to evolve. Whether that’s as a solo badass with disregard or vendettas towards his close allies including Paul, or a face turn, Romans current character needs to be replaced by an idea that isn’t falling apart by the seams.
You can’t be the unbeatable badass & also the chickenshit heel who cannot win without help. This reign has been polluted with that weak structure, cause even if he pinned all three of his competitors on Saturday, you’d just look at that kind of guy like a whiny bitch for having to throw fits at everyone who’s been saving him for no reason.
He desperately needs to either be based on his connections, or based on the fact he’s a badass alone, but that pivot will not make sense withe the title in tow.
