>>13111453>themes exploredthere are certainly some "voids" being explored, not sure I'd call them themes
let's not be obtuse you dumb motherfucker. your comparison was disingenuous and you were blatantly trying to frame male fiction in such a way that it glorifies and fetishizes death and violence, putting it on the same level as women's weird sexual hangups. I handily dismantled this, and now you're running away from it. shouldn't have brought it up at all and just spoke plainly if you didn't want to get embarrassed.
now, on to your "point". the reason you made this comparison in the first place is because you know they're so dissimilar. you're trying to equate the blatantly sexual fantasy described in the OP with shit you know virtually no one fetishizes or fantasizes about, to trick people who don't know better into thinking they're analogous. a guy who reads a war novel doesn't want to get shot or stabbed, he wants to experience things like heroism, camaraderie, etc. in his own life. a woman that reads 50 shades of grey very much so, on some level whether it be overt or subconscious, wants to experience being used, whipped, raped whatever else happens in that "book".
now does this mean all women inherently consent to being used and abused just because they jill off to the idea? of course not.
but context is important, and in the context of this situation, where this bitch was going along for this for 3 years and only started to feel "violated" after the check bounced. well then, knowing everything we just talked about on top of that, it becomes impossible for me, or anyone with a brain, to take her seriously as a """victim""". she clearly wanted this, on a variety of levels, and the only reason she's making a stink now is because she wants more money.
