Just not a very strong lineup.
>Page vs. Penta
This is a good match. Page is a top guy, Penta is an upper midcarder. You know Page is gonna win, but Penta is still credible enough that you have to pay attention.
>Trent vs. Wardlow
Wardlow is firmly in bust territory at this point, Trent is a low midcarder who never wins anything. It's kind of unfortunate because you gotta feed guys to Wardlow if you're gonna push him at the world title, but you also can't feed your credible top guys to him, so you just wind up with useless matches like this. This is a problem with a lot of Undisputed Kingdom. Besides Adam Cole, none of these fuckers are actual draws and besides Roderick, none of them are particularly good in the ring, so they're probably gonna be tanking a lot of quarters if they get as strong of a push as it seems like they're gonna get!
>Hardy vs. Swerve
They probably should've tried to find a better opponent for Swerve. Hardy has some name value, but he's pretty washed.
>Rosa vs. Velvet
Whatever.
>Acclaimed vs. Mogul Embassy
Acclaimed is an extremely tired act and doesn't draw anymore, Mogul Embassy are basically just 6-man job guys. Very juiceless match.
>Copeland vs. Suzuki
Fun match for nerds like me, but Copeland hasn't been a TV draw at any point since he unretired and Suzuki isn't any kind of attraction to a Western TV audience, plus he's kind of physically washed at this point too. This is a good match to do on your TV just because of the uniqueness of it, it's the kind of thing that reaffirms you as an alternative, but you can't go with this as your main event. This is a top of hour 2 match.
They need to find ways to put more of their actual stars on TV, push people the audience actually gives a shit about and actually build the cards up ahead of time, not announce it all on Tuesday on twitter. Ricky and Big Bill vs. Sting and Darby in two weeks is a good start.
