If it was really a straight-forward and honest trade of money for services as you and so many others seem to think, why didn't Vince right off the bat offer her money for sex? Why didn't he invite her over, say "i'll pay you x amount to be my personal prostitute" and leave it at that? Because he knew she might refuse probably? Because he knew by dangling a carrot in front of her and leading her on, all the while manipulating her emotions and breaking down her dignity slowly and incrementally, he could get her to do far more than she otherwise would.
Maybe that's OK to you because she's an adult and has her own autonomy but to me I see a clear abuse of power by someone who knew exactly what he was doing and did it methodically to achieve his precise ends because he knew being up-front and straight forward would not get him what he wanted.
