This crowd reaction is impressive, like a returning midcarder face pop, but the dudes got more fingers than minutes he's been on air in Smackdown before this one and the dudes been on NXT only 2 years + few months. That's some fucking traction for a guy on show that on ratings doesn't catch half the crowd of SD, yet people know who he is.
He's the next Booker T at the very least, and now that there's no bitter old Vince in the way of booking old WCW guys to the top, he will very likely be strapped with a rocket.
But then again, a lot can happen between packing him up to be able to handle a big stage solo against someone which is the real requirement, not just being over for a meme. We found that out with LA, who I think is still struggling with that match quality not being there or that doesn't gel well with top names all the time. LA persists and gets somewhat better little by little but I wouldn't even call him a sureshot even now.
