I would prefer he stay in New Japan, but since he confirmed he's leaving there's no point in talking about that. He clearly is looking to cash his check and have great matches, which is what he's good at, but there's a lack of interest in just going to the place he's already been. When Ospreay signed with AEW I had similar feelings, but it always makes sense, they clearly don't prioritize the challenge of it, they just like to do what they're good at and that's okay, it just doesn't make for an exciting free agent landscape like these moments should.
