>>13150814No it wasn't. The first decade or so of Rumbles were crap Battle Royal things that are borderline unwatchable, that's the only one in that time that has some kind of story going through it. While it is still typical Battle Royal punchkicking around, the WWF title being at stake helps a lot and Flair going long to win is fun. Rumbles don't really pick up til the end of the 90s, bar the retarded 1999 Rumble that just overdoes the gimmickry and dumb angles, Russo shit. 2000-2010 is a really strong decade, you generally can't go wrong picking any of them, big stars all over them, memorable spots, hype endings (2005 is a little eh but Vince busting his quads is the funniest thing to ever happen in a Rumble so there's that).
