Bayley, I think is a decent winner because it's going to further the Damage Control Story line. They're clearly going to turn on her in the next 2 months and then have her use her Wrestlemania challenge against Iyo and most likely win it in her face turn.
The only person I could have seen win it other than her was honestly Nia at this point. They're clearly setting up Becky to go after Rhea, but Becky didn't beat Nia, meaning Nia had that over her still. Nia is going to put Becky over at Elimination chamber, which will set up Rhea vs Becky fight for Mania.
For the guys, I honestly thought they might go the "They eliminated each other at the same time, we have two winners!" bit. I think that could have worked too seeing as Punk was going after Seth and Cody after Roman going into this.
As for having Cody win it, I think Roman is probably refusing to work more days per year and the whole "Oh look the bloodline has interfered again!" shtick is just tired and played out that people are tired of it, so they're going to have him drop it to Cody at Mania 40. I think it'll probably end up the same as it always does; the bloodline tries to interfere, only this time, the Rock shows up and stops the interference. That sets up Roman v Rock for Backlash in France, which I'm sure is willing to cut the Rock an absolutely massive paycheck on.
If they truly want Roman to beat Hulk Hogan's record though, then Cody absolutely should not have won this as it's just again feeding Cody to Roman for Roman's story. Roman is at 1,246 days as the title holder and Hulk held it for 1,475. That means, in the absolutely least, he'd be holding the belt for 230 more days; until September 14th. It's unlikely they'll have him drop it at anything but a big 4 event, so in the absolute earliest, it would be Nov 2024 at Survivor Series. To me, they'd most likely have him hold it until Mania 41. Frankly, I don't want an absentee title holder for that much longer.
