Though I don't doubt he could just autistically phase it out and barrel ahead and insist the audio is fine. Like the old Casio wristwatch buried in the caverns of paper in his cave, that used to randomly go off during various WOR episodes for months on end. Prior to when they gave him video setup and cleaned the place up, (heresy) and presumably found it/got rid of it or the battery just died and dave ultimately won the battle of wills.
