[esoteric news] AJ Francis, also know as Top Dolla in WWE, was supposed to be in the Royal Rumble like his fellow TNA member Jordynne Grace. As per our source, AJ Francis had been an emergency replacement for another TNA star as their medical wasn't cleared due to a minor fracture. AJ's spot was reported to eliminate himself in 30 seconds by launching over Omos and the top rope but reportedly he chickened out in the last second and refused to exit the bathroom he locked himself into. Pat McAfee was reportedly told to improvise his part just minutes before he had to enter as suitable replacements weren't found. WWE backstage source reports that producers were highly disappointed and irate for the situation unfolding as it did but understanding of AJ's personal gripes with his portrayal. It's believed this incident won't affect the future TNA/WWE joint ventures in the slightest.
