No longer are you bound to a shitty schedule and can consume the shows you want to consume at any time you want. And adbreaks arent a thing either aswell (unless you count in the low entry tier from netflix). If you dont like a specific scene, you can skip it, so a long show will become much more palatable. Speaking of that, you can just pause the shit, go to sleep, wake up, go to work, come back and watch right from the point you left it. Its why TV is considered a dying platform, since so many more eyes are on netflix, twitch, youtube, etc.
Its just so much more convenient and just better.
