Didn't you watch Smackdown? They are all pulled out of a big Bingo tumbler. Why would WWE book Jey vs Jimmy to start the rumble? That's a mania match and putting them together now would be a terrible move. But the tumbler said 1 and 2 so they had to go with it.

It's not CGI or anything they are really jumping around and grappling with each other. It just has story telling that isn't real life

Modern wrestlers don't know how to improvise. Even if WWE wanted to randomize the picks, they can't because almost no one on the roster is able to work without a script.

Pisses me off how everybody declares a Rumble as WOAT when some big surprise isn't #30. Sami got #30 from the tumbler. They couldn't do anything about it? Why was Ricochet so late into the match. He got #28 in the tumbler. All chance.

this, it blows my fucking mind that WWE with their billions of dollars doesn't put these guys through a script reading/improv/acting bootcamp like they do teaching wrestling moves.
