People will cry about this, but this is unironically the truth. And already, Cody's chase is getting stale, because it always boils down to "muh story" and "muh daddy". What else can we expect to see from him once he's the champ? Who can he even feud with that he hasn't ran through in the past year? He beat all the big names, hell, even Lesnar 2 out of three times. Who else is there for him that would pose as a genuine threat to his title?

Naw, they can get a full 6-8 months out of if easy, a victory lap around the US. Kids will be begging their parents to take them to see Champion Cody before the inevitable happens. House shows are selling without champions headlining, you can drag TV along with people going after the Codester from all directions, beating the odds. Plenty of material there.
