oddly enough, that one G1 show in Dallas a few years ago had a small but amazing crowd that was genuinely interested in the wrestling and weren't trying to get over.

honest answer the production fucking sucks
and I say this as someone that enjoys the AEW product
they're more obsessed with showing zoom-ins of random fans looking at their phones after a spot than the guys in the ring selling it
if you ever go back and watch the big YBs vs omega/hangman tag match it would be infinitely more kino with a ragtag 2 cameraman setup focusing on the ring

As said earlier AEW's presentation sucks while NJPW doesn't. Also AEW fans are more retarded and will clap at any flip, while the NJPW will only care about important moves. Omega and Osprey learned the same thing Hogan (who ironically is actually a NJPW wrestler who moved full time to America) realized. American audiences like a show while Japanese audiences like a sport
