If TNT loses NBA, then AEW becomes must-keep for WBD, at the right price. But the WBD stock is suffering, badly - Warner's divisions have major losses dating back to their AT&T days.
Those who count themselves as AEW fan have to hope Tony is as committed to this thing as he says he is -- but on rigid terms, but flexible terms. I get he doesn't WANT to fire/release/non-renew anyone, but if his payroll is $15-20M/year higher than it needs to be....and as a result he asks WBD for $20-25M more per year and they balk.....that could have a serious butterfly slash snowball slash butterball effect.
