This is all coming from the heart.
I'm not trolling. I'm not trying to be funny.
I'm being 100% serious. CM Punk was the reason I started watching wrestling in the early 2010s. I loved his feuds with John Cena. To me it was my favorite rivalry in wrestling. To me the summer of punk was my favorite time being a wrestling fan. Every promo he did was so captivating and interesting. Also I thought he was really cute and still do. One of the few wrestlers who wasn't afraid to be publicly pro trans. That shows you a lot about the character of this man. To me he is a misunderstood man with a heart of gold. I was so excited to see him back in wwe. I liked him in aew but honestly I would only watch if I knew he was going to be on because I'm more of a wwe fan. I don't know it just felt like more of a big deal when he came back to wwe. The way the crowd reacted. I think it was knowing that he would finally have his chance of main eventing wresltemania. Something that a wrestler of his caliber should have done multiple times. It was so cruel that he got that injury when he did. I really thought this would be his year. I don't maybe he can do it next year. I'm hoping he can. It would be a tragedy if such a legend never main evented 1 wrestlemania.
