Still convinced it’s a work to a degree. Torn triceps can ruin your career, I don’t think he’d do those spots with Drew if it was really that terrible. There’s also the fact that Drew did it with a DDT, which he used to (accidentally) ruin another guy’s career with an injury, so I think it’s an intentional call back. I’d say they’re being cautious so they specifically can minimize the chance he’ll actually get hurt so he can do something at Mania like run to save Cody or something. Also this all might just be cope on my end but I refuse to take my meds.

They don't, but he is nonetheless a big star with a compelling story. He's probably the most important guy in the company from the last thirty-five years who never main-evented 'Mania. Including Eddie.

That said, I... don't see him making it. He's having major injuries every other match, and that RR performance was the worst we've seen him look yet.
