Mistreatment, unfair dismissal, harassment/discrimination/abuse etc., but not generally in scenarios like Vince, usually scenarios where it's much more difficult for the victim to prove but the reputational cost to the company is greater than the cost to pay them to keep quiet, and the payment is greater than the victim is likely to win minus legal fees after a drawn out difficult court case. It's technically unenforceable but the payment is intended to create a condition where the cost/effort of breaking it vs reward is less than the payment for keeping quiet.
