But if we get to WM and it's clear they're not giving Cody a WWE title shot, then there is zero doubt that they're fucking with him due to backstage bullshit
Having Cody job to Reigns last year was the right call long-term booking wise, as much as it hurt at the time. That led to the continued fan support that he's gotten up to now, and made his story more appealing
But there is no logical reason for him to literally just hand over his WM title shot to Dwayne in the manner that he did last night, other than to make him look bad on purpose
That's what was so horrible last night. Not so much the fact that they confirmed Dwayne/Roman over Cody/Roman, but HOW they did it. Cody looked like a complete cuck
If Cody doesn't win the WWE title by WM40, I'm giving up WWE for at least a year and will give AEW a shot. End of fucking blog post.
