>According to upper-level WWE management, the current plans are to have the main event for Wrestlemania XL be Roman Reigns vs The Rock vs Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins in a fatal four-way match for both the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Universal Championship. This last minute change was made due to CM Punk's tricep injury following the Royal Rumble and the general belief among backstage personnel that the Rock is 'not fit' for a one-on-one match.

>The finish for the match is set to have Cody Rhodes pinning Roman Reigns and The Rock pinning Seth Rollins at the same time, resulting in Cody winning the WWE Universal Championship and The Rock winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Both men would then become the active champions for their respective brands, with The Rock becoming a full-time member of the Raw roster and Cody a full-time member of the Smackdown roster.
