Ari is head of TKO, his brother Rahm is ambassador to Japan, they're very establishment shitlib.
WWE's new marching orders are very fucking simple- if they put out a shit product, it's okay, because
>Vince McMahon is a rapist, he used to be in charge you dont want him back do you, therefore this is better>It's only wrestling, why do you take entertainment so seriously when kiddies in Africa/Asia are dyingChurn out cheap-to-make, lazily made content full of nepotism hires & selective hires, use ESG ideology to moralise and guilt and shame people for criticising the product. If you criticise the product you're just a hateful, Trump supporting fascist bigot, didn't you know that enjoying entertainment for its own sake or wanting quality more than lecturing makes you far-right? This happened with gaming, with just about every major movie franchise, with TV- capeshit bullshit, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Rings of Power, The Witcher. All of it has substituted extremely overt sociopolitical messaging for effortful content, because it's cheaper & easier to make that sort of content and browbeat audiences into paying for it, than it is to put the work in to make good content where the themes are worked in more subtly & complementary. But even if you make this obvious observation, you get called a Trump supporter as if those are the only two options, because political marks are dumber than wrestling marks.
Sami's just doing his job, he's recieved his marching orders and he wants to keep his job so he'll follow. Vince's scandal will be the go-to shield for every future booking criticism, if that doesn't work they'll point to something else.
