Corny doesn't get NXT and joined the seethe bandwagon back when Vince rebranded it to 2.0 back when. But they'll occasionally watch matches. I think the last one they reviewed was Ilja/Dijak, and they loved it.

They won't. They've tried and shit on it every time. Cornette tows the smark line, thinking NXT B&G was a great, serious promotion that shouldn't have been tampered with. I think he caught some of the tail, tail end, but he didn't actually watch it enough to see how garbage and indie-rific it became for the last several years.

Corny needs to get the stick out of his ass and realize some things in wrestling is meant for kids. Orange Cassidy is the least of AEWs problems and he constantly shits on him for being not le serious. I'm in my 30s now but could see myself loving (don't even mind it now) his gimmick as a teenager.

OC's problem isn't that he isn't serious. In fact, there's often points in his match where all of a sudden he starts acting it. His problem is that it's terrible post-ironic bullshit that's only funny if you are a teenager or just found out that wrestling is fake. It buries the whole show, and there's a reason he loses viewers all the time. He's like Bray Wyatt where his sycophantic paypiggies will splurge on his merch, but it brings the entire card down.

OK, i can see that. But when he goes, i think he can actually go and doesn't do as many cringe spots as the rest of the roster. He really doesn't need to do the light kicks thing every match. Most of the AEW roster acts like they're in a new town every night and not a televised act, which is why they do all their schticks to death and leave nothing for big matches. Indie shitter mentality.
