I get the attention divertion tactic, but cody fans wanted Cody to win so they would be happy regardless. They would tweet how happy they are with the outcome, not talk about vince.
If the Vince trial goes finally to court, IT WILL MAKE WAVES. Rock can fire Cody, call his father a faggot that should have died far sooner and his brother an AIDS victim; people would still talk about vince.
This is just way to short sighted, and in no shape or form a good idea.
The worst thing is: Once Cody was over and it was his time to say goodbye, he would have put multiple people over. But thats only possible if Cody was considered a star in WWE, which he isnt. Not anymore. Just so incredibly tone deaf and short sighted
