Gradually Bushi took control of the promotion overriding his booking decisions, over working the girls to the point of injury, and killing the audience so hard they were drawing crowds of 110. Some of the girls come to Rossy saying they want to leave when their contracts come up. Rossy's contract ends around the same time. Rossy tells Bushi he will be leaving and starts making plans with the girls that want to leave to start a new promotion like what Stardom used to be before Bushiroad took over. Bushiroad seemingly has no problem with this for a while. Eventually one of the girls who doesn't plan on leaving tells Bushi that a significant number of the girls plan on leaving with Rossy. Bushi starts to panic when they realize that they won't be able to run the promotion since all their big names plan on leaving. Bushi fires Rossy a month ahead of the time he plans on leaving.
FOR SOME REASON Tony Khan take Rossy being fired as a result of his complaining about Rossy not booking Stardom girls to show up at AEW shows on the same day they are already booked by Bushiroad to work in Stardom. Tony Khan head cannons an entire conspiracy up that the entire reason Rossy wasn't letting him job out the tops stars of Stardom is because Rossy secretly works for WWE. Tony Khan takes victory laps on twitter bragging about how he got Rossy fired. Almost every girl in Stardom now hates AEW because most of them actually respect Rossy for paying well and not being a weird sex creep like a lot of Japanese promotors.
