So the Rock got butthurt and tried to bury Vin, but Vin got his revenge in post production as the producer when he did the pettiest shit imaginable to edit the film and make the Rock look like a midget jobber.
The Rock seethed about it, but the executive producers worked out a compromise to keep on benefitting from those Rock dollars by giving him a spinoff with Jason Statham, but Statham outshone the Rock and ended up becoming an even bigger character than the Rock's.
