first couple seasons are definitely worth watching. first was plagued with issues as far as some of the luchadors not beibg able to make it (so they used some california performers like john hennigan) to fill gaps, but season 2 really got them in. dario cueto is the best slimy boss since vince. king cuerno and mil muertes w/ catrina are awesome. ricochet as puma was great. jeff cobb as matanza was great before he started moonsaulting and killing the aura of his size. pentagon was never better. the setting is great too.

the trouble with intergender matches is down to the talent involved. they’re feasible, however the womsn will almost always turn face the longer the match goes, and the guys always want to give too much. it’s a delicate balancing act, made only worse by the “if we don’t get things this way it’s sexism” crowd. it’s just the way culture is now.

Comfy af. It's a mixture of pro wrestling, mortal kombat and a mexican soap opera. Like anons have said it goes downhill during season 3 but the episodes are about 45 minutes of tightly edited non-stop action so it flies by. I'd say check it out and if you're not hooked after episode 3 it's not for you.
