This works for me, honestly. Roman may not break Hogan or Bruno's title reigns records but this would give him 9 Mania main events, beating Hogan's 8. The only record that actually matters.

It doesn't though because he's not CM Punk, Cody already legitimately main evented WrestleMania. He just needs to be the one to beat Roman, it wouldn't even have mattered if it was at SummerSlam last year or something.

But that’s just stupid. If they have Roman win two nights in a row it just makes Cody look weak, and if they have him win on night one but lose on night two then it just diminishes Cody’s win since he’s beating up a worn down champion who’s still hurting from the night before.
