Is there any chance that Punk was supposed to win the rumble and challenge seff but they called an audible to have Cody win because Punk knew he was injured?
It would make a lot of sense, but the only reasons I think this isn't the case is because they kept bringing up that no one has won the Rumble 2 years in a row since Austin like a million times basically spoiling the rumble, they haven't never brought that up for previous rumbles from what I recall, and also I think Punk would never be that selfless and would still take the win injuried.
