I don't understand why people are treating a pivot like it's a bad thing.
Changing your mind on something and reacting accordingly is the hallmark of a good booker. Vince was criticized a lot because he DIDN'T pivot.

Are you kidding? Watching the press conference was the most fun I've had with anything wrestling related for a while. It's all a work, but the pull-apart brawl and half-censored cursing at the end made it feel closer to a shoot than anything done at a major promotion in decades. The SOVL is back in wrestling.
