The thing that Cunter and Sethetty don’t get is the title doesn’t make the man, the man makes the title. Back when they first started the Universal title it was worthless as well until Brock had his 500+ day reign and made it worth something. They need to put it on a credible badass that dominates everyone, and that definitely isn’t Seth “Faggot” Rollins despite him being booked like a Cena on steroids. He’s still a fucking joke, and always will be. If I had to pick someone to put it on, I’d say maybe Bobby Lashley, or Gunther, and give them a two year reign. I would’ve liked to have seen Drew be the guy to do this, but he’s lost too much credibility having jobbed out so much recently.

I don't think letting another midcarder have a long run with the meme title is the right move, have it be actually fought over by a bunch of chumps who get short reigns for a year or two, establish it as something that actually exists and is actively coveted by the wrestlers, and then have someone who might be worth pushing hold onto the title longer than the rest.

Hunter needs to make it a hoss belt that is almost always fought for by the likes of Gunther, Drew, Bobby and Bronson. Think of a 4 Kings of Boxing rivalry like Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns and Roberto Duran. Then after establishing it that way, a believable smaller guy that can cause an upset like Ilja Dragunov can beat of one the big guys for it. That would make this title worth something. Definitely more than it's worth now (which isn't a lot).

Except nobody ever gave a fuk about the Universal title. Seth's title will gain value over time by it being dropped to someone who needs it, then either someone who needs it more or someone who can get enough heat that they'll be begging the next guy to win it. More than just names, the title needs moments to gain value.

Put all titles on the line and call it The biggest/greatest WrestleMania main event in history™. It will work since they can’t do that for the WM38 Brock/Roman match anymore. It’s a smark match but they will be in one of the biggest smark cities on the planet. It will be fine. The crowd will put the match over the top.

All that being said, Seth really needs to hit back at Roman/Rock somehow before this. I’m guessing the Elimination Chamber match will probably be a tag match between the four.
