He wanted it because what would the point have been with all of that shit before just to draw a negative reaction towards him. After the initial backlash, we seen a huge PR showing on social media gaslighting us into saying we should feel bad for not wanting Rock v Roman. Someone must have realised it was an asshole move to pull such a thing and by no means a good look.

Thank god they did too. I’m not against Rock vs Roman (as much as that match is going to be shit) but it needs a proper build. Beginning with an asspull no one buys into isn’t a good start

Dwayne was trying his fucking hardest to get the fans on side at that presser. He said it before, he has to think of this like a business now. He realized that if he couldn't get people on his side on the presser, he'd have to play a heel and let Cody take it. But Cody's promo actually got under his skin because he actually buys into his own mythology. Rock is the type to say he isn't take steriods, despite obviously taking them, because for him it doesn't count
