Second, if Russo was so crucial to the Attitude Era, then tell me why WWF thrived and ratings kept increasing, after Russo left, while WCW only saw a slight, temporary bump in ratings but never returned to competition with WWF and instead WCW kept getting colder and colder until Turner killed it?

Truth is, the Attitude Era was a product of its time, and while many contributed to it, including Vince Russo of course, the #1 factor in the explosive popularity of the WWF was Stone Cold Steve Austin. Just as in the mid 80s, the WWF exploded in popularity due to Hulk Hogan. These were generational stars. And in the late 90s, WWF was gifted with two of them (other being the Rock, albeit a little after Austin).
