>>13370245I think it's like when you grow up too rich and autistic, without not understanding what it's like to grow up poor and have you favorite toy or bike stolen or lost and not being able to replace it instantly because your dad can't just throw money at the problem. And combining that with the way you sort of buy your friends as a rich kid, meaning I don't think he literally pays for his friends to hang out but his lavish gifts evens out the barrier of tolerating so that people to be more forgiving and accepting of bullshit from him if they aren't rich themselves.
When you grow up in that environment lacking adversary to build character traits upon and lack the understanding of value of money because you never worked hard for it or never had a chance to know whats it like to actually struggle to find some or pinch budget it, that you become too soft for the world of carnies where everyone is basically there to make a buck at the end of the day.
Sure, some people get idealistic and want to become their own 'best in the world that ever was' but when their shit get rung and the sawdust builds up in their bodies, seeing the end of their career approach, need of paying them bills in the now and future will turn them all carnies. And by all accounts and reports, there is not a single place in wrestling that pays better for less work than AEW, so all them friendocarnierinos gonna stay like that, not calling out his bullshit, not toughening him up, not giving him adversary to grow upon
