A lesson learned from the world of pro wrestling that applies here as well: ANY reaction, good or bad, is good. The only bad thing is getting no reaction at all. It doesn't matter if you're laughing at 1992 or not. You were bothered enough to make a thread about it and that's what keeps the meme alive. Cryanposter making a copycat thread every time a Nash one is created is what keeps the meme alive. It might be stale, it might be unfunny, it might have run its course years ago. But so long as people know that it will ALWAYS get a reaction (which is what they want), they will keep posting it. This is why 4chan made announcing reports against the rules. No one person can singlehandedly control what is posted here, but if you're tired of seeing something your best course of action is silently reporting it.
