You got the vets like Edge and Christian that WWE had little place for and stars like MJF and Swerve will inevitably land in the Fed at some point down the line.
WCW had the same problem. It’s the natural relationship between a no. 1 and no. 2.
I don’t think people understand the depths to which Vincent Kennedy McMahon totally fucked the wrestling business. The WWE was the sole place for people to go to for wrestling for years without any real competition.
It’s like if you were to try to start up your own soda company to compete with Coke or Pepsi. You have zero chance in hell. Best you can hope for is that they like your product’s output and buy your company for a pretty penny.
On the bright side, Tony doesn’t care about money, so at least he’ll be around for a while.
