Your reminder that a SummerSlam 2024 location/venue has STILL not been announced yet. There's only one good reason to hold back: WWE aren't sure if they can get Rock to agree to be in the SummerSlam main event or not

WrestleMania is already sold out, don't need Rock to be in a match there. He can be a special guest referee. Summerslam though, if Rock is all in on having a match, you can book a 80,000 seat NFL stadium and aim for the sky. If Rock wants to wait until Mania next year? You book a much smaller MLB/50k seat stadium like in 2023

If/when WWE announces SummerSlam in an NFL stadium, you already know what's up.

it's too late to run that angle when he has clear bias against cody now, it would stack the cards against him way too much and he can refuse to count or be extremely nitpicky on him when he already has to deal with the rest of the tribe
