- Rock: "Should I sit at the Head of the Table"?
- Cody: Wins the Rumble, points to Roman
- Seth: "You should really think about challenging me!"
- Cody: "I talked to a friend and I won't be finishing my story at Wrestlemania"
- Rock *appears and stares down Roman hard*
- Fans: "Boo, this is literal shit and you should feel bad."
- Seth: "I NEED you to face ME for ME!"
- Drew: "I'm conveniently here for Seth to fight now!"
- Roman: "I'm going to face Rock at Mania!"
- Rock: "We are brothers"
- Cody: "No I am challenging Roman"
- Rock: "I am now best friends with Roman, no one insults our family!"
You really think that sounds good in any way? It wasn't just a single pivot it was multiple. Cody v Roman was the original plan, but the Rock got appointed to the TKO board and pivoted it to him and Roman because he thought it would sell more tickets. Fans got absolutely pissed so they pivoted back to Cody v Roman, but now have this Rock presence because he tried to insert himself into things. Essentially, they tried to cram two storylines together that didn't have any interaction, it went poorly, then they just changed it by completely abandoning the Head of the Table fight story and instead made Roman the Rocks pocket holding bitch. When they walked out past triple H, Roman was following along like a good little lackey.
