>>13388708 was in charge of Malakai's overall presentation I think he could have at least been a sporadic part of the main event scene and conveivably at least be worth a transitional reign. Unfortunately he has the aesthetic instincts of a 14 year old metalhead. The HoB's vignettes have always looked amateurish and cheap, and a ginger named Buddy doesn't belong in the group.
It's unfortunate because when he showed up and had that feud with Cody he seemed like a no brainer to be in the title picture in the future; his entrance was cool and he had more of an aura than most people in the company, especially after beating Cody twice. Unfortunately, even though the feud was ultimately 2-1 for Malakai, Cody getting the win in the third match and basically having the last word in Malakai's first big feud killed his momentum. He could have been okay if they followed up with another feud for him to win, but there must have been newer toys by then.
