Honestly it wouldn't even surprise me if Cody gets cashed in on at mania and loses the title instantly. And if they go that route it won't matter, because he still finished the story.
There's a lot of guys that need a title reign to rebuild them or restart their momentum. LA Knight, AJ, Randy, Drew, Breakker will be in the conversation, Gunther. But with Gunther I'd wait. I'd let him be the last man standing of the forever reign era because if Roman and Rhea and Seth all drop their titles then Gunther will get a rub if he hangs on to the IC belt awhile longer. That's the reign I would just let go on all the way until they're ready to put a world title on Gunther.
