Should've opened the pocket book and kept Cody. They had the Canadians like Kenny and Ospreay but a few more American talents as well as annual tentpole shows on the west coast would've staked a claim in the American scene

Except they clearly didn’t as we learned in 2019. He was the one they needed to open the pocketbook for. The bucks would’ve fallen in line since he’s their meal ticket and Cody would’ve just gone straight back to WWE instead of making a new promotion all by himself
