Kane has his merits, but not many of 'em. He was a really, really bad worker, and his angles were generally the worst in the company. The 2010 Kane title reign was brutal to witness.
He could be a fun monster to watch squash jobbers, and he had one of the best debuts in pro-wrestling history. I don't know why he never figured out how to be a good wrestler, as he's generally regarded as a smart guy within the company, and easy enough to work with. But man, he's had maybe three good singles matches in his career, none of which is even particularly good by the standards of the guys he was wrestling.
