Making stuff LOOK organic and on the fly even if you've got it prepped. That's the art that most wrestlers now cannot do, because they don't react, they barely even act, they pantomime. They dont drill chain wrestling and flow fundamentals until they can just do it second nature then work on making it look like a spontaneous struggle, they just learn sequences.
Damien Slater in Australia is a phenomenal chain wrestler, he actually knows how to flow naturally. Tyson Dux is also pretty good.
William Regal talks about this shit in basically every episode of his podcast, reacting-selling rather than acting-selling.
It's nothing to do with childhood- I didn't watch the 03 Rumble as a kid, couldnt get PPV until Mania 19. Revisit it and it holds up way above anything else.
