I think the Sting vs Vader series of matches peaked with the first one. The rest had stipulations that took focus away from the fundamental David against Goliath psychology

Can it still be David vs. Goliath if David has already pinned Goliath 1v1 in the past? All of AJPWs X Vs. Hansen and X Vs. Jumbo matches had X losing multiple times in singles matches before they went over.

He is. His nickname was Johnny "Red Shoes" Dugan. Unno adapted Dugan's nickname and gimmick (red shoes, armband, jumping around the ring, interacting with the wrestlers, etc,) in 2003.
