>>13431032Peptides are the craze at the moment. Way harder to detect and they're not illegal so they're easy to obtain. Tons of people use peptides for all sorts of things such as dealing with injuries, weight loss, etc. It's not a far cry to assume that guys are also taking synthetic growth hormone secretagogues aswell.

Even though they feel like it'll be fine, they'll feel like its light, in truth you have to build your way up to that weight slowly if you are not accustomed to it. The same injury could occur in someone who hasn't been in the gym for awhile because its easy to get that muscle back via muscle memory quickly but it takes longer to get that tendon strength back.
The guy probably did a couple of months in the gym and thought he could throw 300 pound dudes around like the good old days not understanding that it takes many more months to actually be in shape to do that. Its probably why his physique has always been dogshit because I doubt he's been consistent in the gym and instead relied on in ring stuff to keep him in shape, but what happens when you haven't been in the ring for a year? Snap city is what happens.
Let him be a lesson to y'all. If you haven't been in the gym in awhile, start with weight that you think you'll be laughed at for lifting and rebuild your way up over a few months. There is no off-season for the gym so if you're getting in the gym to "get ready" you are certainly not ready because you should have always been in the gym if want to consider yourself a series athlete.
