It's a damn shame how Nintendo used to be the go-to when it came to wrestling games, not the PS1, not the Saturn, not the Dreamcast. It was all about the N64's great THQ shit back in the dizzay. Now the Switch gets nothing but Pokemon & old SNES rehashes.

I've been saying for years that a "Punch-Out but IN WRESTLING" would be fucking great.

Just make up a bunch of cartoony fucks that play to the stereotypes in wrestling. You have the All-American face, the Great Muta/Hayabusa/Jushin Liger ripoffs, the big ass Vader Monster Heel, the Road Warrior tag team, the black boots and trunks shooter, the Mexican luchadores, and so on.

Make the moves recognizable, but exaggerated, make it the a guy doing the Burning Hammer shows an X-ray of your opponent getting his neck busted.

It basically makes itself, just don't make it boring.

It would be based but Nintendo are very conservative with risky new ideas, they won't even release new games with their own popular IPs.
Also wrestling isn't all that popular anywhere. Best bet is someone dares Suda51 to develop one.
