I guess so but NJPW really only has itself to blame for devaluing heavyweight tag wrestling like they have

The old AJPW and NJPW tag tournaments used to be massive fucking draws, the Asia Tag and the World Tag. You just need to have your biggest stars teaming up, like Kobashi and Misawa vs Kawada and Taue. You gotta build interest.
