There's no reason why wrestling shouldn't be ambitious and try to maximize its potential to reach and surprass the heights of shakesperean tragedies..etc. It is the most visceral, direct form of theater that has the added benefit of improvising through its call-and-response relationship with the audience, where there is no real fourth wall. You should dare to have bigger stakes, more profound themes in your wrestling presentation. Nothing should prevent a promoter from creating matches inspired by Samuel Beckett's plays. Wrestling needs an extra avant-garde edge to it, since everything has already been so played out already.
