Bryan has never been shy about his disrespect for Kingston, he's called him a bum and called him mentally weak in in-ring segments, backstage segments, while on commentary during Eddie's matches.
It's just a series of things you know about both competitors by watching the show week to week and learning about their characters, so when a match like this is booked, you immediately understand why without needing some kind of long explainer. This is generally how AEW structures its stories - they're for the people that actually watch the show, not for people who think the show should be something else.
